Ms. Skinner joined Wohlner Kaplon Cutler Halford & Rosenfeld in 2017 as an associate in the firm’s employee benefits practice. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Skinner served as a federal investigator for the U.S. Department of Labor Employee Benefits Security Administration for six years. During her time at the Employee Benefits Security Administration, Ms. Skinner independently reviewed and completed investigations of complex employee benefit plans, including Taft-Hartley multiemployer training trusts, defined benefit pension plans, defined contribution pension plans, money purchase pension plans, health and welfare plans, supplemental unemployment benefit plans, vacation savings plans, retiree plans, hybrid plans, and employee stock ownership plans throughout Southern California, Arizona, and Hawaii.
Ms. Skinner graduated from the University of California at Berkeley in 2008. She received her Juris Doctorate degree in 2013 from Western State College of Law where she received a Certificate for Public Service and Witkin Award for Solving Legal Problems. In law school, Ms. Skinner interned at the U.S. Department of Labor and worked as a law clerk for a labor and employment firm.
In her free time, Ms. Skinner enjoys yoga, hiking, and going to the beach with her husband and dogs.
