Emily Johnson

Emily Johnson is a 1998 graduate from the University of Illinois Honors College with a degree in Spanish and Secondary Education.  She taught middle school and high school Spanish for over a decade before attending the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University.  Ms. Johnson received her Juris Doctorate degree from ASU, cum laude, in 2013.

Ms. Johnson is admitted to practice law in Arizona and California.  Her practice area focuses on representing labor unions and their members in federal and state court litigation, arbitrations, and administrative proceedings before the NLRB, PERB, the EEOC and other agencies.  She also advises Taft-Hartley multiemployer health and welfare pension plans in all aspects of plan administration and ERISA compliance.

Ms. Johnson is an active member of the Labor and Employment Sections of the Arizona and California Bar Associations and the AFL-CIO’s Union Lawyers Alliance.  In her spare time, Ms. Johnson enjoys spending time with her three children, traveling, cooking, and reading.
